Employment Allowance £2,000 (Employers NIC)

The 2014-15 tax year sees the launch of the Employment Allowance as announced in the recent budget, that will enable 1.25m businesses and charities to cut up to £2,000 from their employer Class 1 National Insurance Contributions (NICs).

Most business will be able to claim up to the full £2,000 against their monthly/quarterly NIC bills and can be taken advantage of by just checking a box online when submitting your next return.

This is a really bonus for businesses and according to both the government and the Federation of Small Businesses, should give smaller businesses even more of an opportunity take on their first or additional employees.
