‘Enterprising Leicester’ business grants launched at recent ‘Leicester Economic Plan’ review
Regent College were represented at the recent review of the ‘Leicester Economic Plan’ on September 25th. The City Mayor, Peter Soulsby recently gave a presentation to review the first year of progress of his economic plan as set out last year.
One of the key aims was to create jobs and growth in the city, and the second year of the plan is very much focused on supporting SMEs in the city to grow and prosper. Regent College are proud to be one of the training providers in the city closely working with the city Council to increase growth and employment opportunities through apprenticeships and QCF qualifications.
There are new grants available to help grow your business, or even start up a new venture. Business owners can apply for grants of between £1,000-£15,000 to support a growth project that will create jobs. All applicants for the grant will be helped by a number of business support organisations (details of these organisations can be found on the website below), then applications are assessed by an investment panel. Regent College are an outstanding provider for employer related training, therefore are able to support training needs that you may have within your application.
If you have been considering the right time to invest and grow your business, the ‘Enterprising Leicester’ grants are an ideal opportunity.
