    More support planned for growing businesses in Leicester

    Leicester County Council are working with Regent College along with other local colleges and training providers to boost support for businesses to grow though employing apprentices. The group has been set up to ensure quality and guidance for employers and young people in the area. Key colleges and training providers in Leicester will be involved in providing more advice and guidance to young people to support and prepare them into apprenticeships. The group will also be at the heart of giving clear advice and guidance to employers, and ensuring this is to a high standard.
    The plans are due to be launched in January, the aim is for Leicester city Council add to the existing AGE grant to, helping to make growth through employing an apprenticeships more affordable. This will give a huge boost to businesses in the area and will help to nurture talent in young people.
    Regent College have an outstanding reputation for training in the workplace, including apprenticeships. We are able to support employers through the whole process apprenticeships, right from drawing up the vacancy, choosing the right person and supporting them in their training.
